Initially from North Carolina, couples Bob Mahalo and Pam Cooper moved to Kona in 1997 to accomplish their long time dream to live where the mountains meet the sea. They first started producing Kona coffee in their 6-acre orchards and now they are engaged in making pure Hawaiian Chocolate.
Original Hawaiian Chocolate Factory takes pride of their micro-processing factory, which is the only one in Hawaii that guarantees total quality control from the fields to the final chocolate products. They are the sole and exclusive provider of chocolate grown, harvested, processed, and packaged in Hawaii.
